RUMMAGE SALE REPORT, FALL 2016
The Women’s Fellowship is happy to report that the recent Rummage Sale on October 8th brought in approximately $2900, after expenses. This money supports our donations to many church, local, national, and international charities. Also important is the disbursal of the Rummage Sale remainders. You will all be pleased to know that these remainders were recycled to other local and area charity efforts: St. James Thrift Shop, the Lutheran Church yard sale, the Monadnock Humane Society, children’s clothing to Franklin Elementary School, our partnership with Mt. Selinda in Zimbabwe, the Keene Public Library, toys and baby clothing to Begin Again, the Cheshire County Historical Society, 100 Nights Shelter, the Monadnock Area Foster Parent Assn., the Senior Center, Genesis Health Care, Salvation Army, and Planet Aid.
We thank everyone who donated items, set up and took down tables and racks, unpacked, sorted, and priced items, made lunches for the workers, and supported the event by shopping! It truly was a community effort!
