The United Church of Christ in Keene prepared 210 health and school kits in this spring’s annual collection for distribution by Church World Service.
Women’s Fellowship Board members assembled 123 health kits with items donated by the congregation. Each health kit contains a toothbrush, hand towel, washcloth, soap, nail clipper, comb, and band aids. The handbell choir members completed 87 school kits, including handmade tote bags.
The total of 210 kits are taken to Bow, NH, to be added to the New Hampshire collection, and then to Baltimore, MD, to be distributed in areas of need.
