- December 10 Live Nativity in the Elsie Priest Park, behind the UCC-Keene building, with donkeys, sheep, goats, and an alpaca from Amazing Grace Animal Sanctuary in Sullivan. Warm up in the church’s dining room with hot chocolate, cookies, and activities for children. 3:30-5:30 pm.
- December 11 Sermon-in-Music. The choir, led by Beverly Caldon, music director, will present Gaudete Rejoice by Anders Ohrwall, accompanied by Julie Armstrong, flute; Sussan Henkel, oboe; and Joy Flemming, bassoon. Songs related to the Christmas story, including English Christmas carols, French noels, etc. The service begins at 10 am.
- December 14 Blue Christmas services, for those who have experienced a loss or are in need of quiet reflection during Advent season. Held in the Chapel and led by Pastor Cindy Bagley and Deacons. Two services—at noon and 5:30 pm.
- December 18 Christmas Pageant, the familiar story of the birth of Jesus with costumed participants from the congregation. The service begins at 10 am.
- December 18 Messiah Sing. Christmas Section (Part I) with Hallelujah Chorus. Led by Beverly Caldon, music director, with string quartet, organ, and vocal soloists. Scores available to borrow. Celebration reception will follow. Handicapped accessible entrance from rear door off Vernon Street. Suggested donation of $10. 7 pm.
- December 24 Christmas Eve Services featuring candlelight and handbells. Early service is family oriented. Later service includes the choir and is broadcast on WKBK. 5 pm and 9 pm.
- December 25 Christmas Day Sunday. Please join us on Christmas Day at 10:00 a.m. for a special in-person Celtic Christmas Celebration of music and story. Please note, this service will not be live streamed, but is available for listening on WKBK Radio, 1290AM/94.1FM and at WKBKRadio.com.
