“Look for Angels in Your Midst” is the title of works by caricature artist Dan Atherton of Bedford, NH, on display in the East Room Gallery, United Church of Christ in Keene, through the month of February.
Caricatures are cartoon likenesses done for humorous effect. The “Look for Angels in Your Midst” exhibit includes caricatures of the UCC-Keene staff and office volunteers. In addition, Dan Atherton shared his art with willing members of the congregation on Sunday, Feb. 11.
Dan Atherton started creating art professionally in California in 2004. He draws and trains artists in a number of art forms, including caricature, face painting, letter brush art, and airbrush art. He may be reached at athertonarts.com.
