Lenten Songs for Comfort and Peace

Due to forecasts of inclement weather, the Sermon-in-Music scheduled for Sunday March 30, at the United Church of Christ in Keene was postponed to this Sunday, April 6. At the 10 am worship service this week, the Choir will present “Lenten Songs for Comfort and Peace,” including variations of well-loved selections, such as “Amazing Grace,” Pachelbel’s “Canon,” and “On Eagle’s Wings,” as well as seasonal songs for Lent and Easter. The choir is led and accompanied by music director and organist Beverly Caldon, with guest flutist Maria Colletti for this special music service.

The Church is located at 23 Central Square, Keene. There is an accessible entrance at the rear of the building, off Vernon Street, with an elevator to the Sanctuary on the second floor. A free-will offering will be taken and all are welcome.
