World Communion Sunday

On this first Sunday in October, UCC congregations join Christian churches across the globe to celebrate World Communion Sunday. World Communion Sunday began in 1936 in the Presbyterian Church and was adopted by the National Council of Churches in 1940. Since then, the celebration has grown into an international ecumenical celebration of Christian unity. Children will stay in worship and help serve communion on this day!
