Landscape photographer Heather Ells displays the sights and seasons of New England in the current exhibit in the East Room Gallery, United Church of Christ in Keene, 23 Central Square.
According to the photographer, “I specialize in capturing the essence of natural landscapes and cityscapes. Through the interplay of light, color, layers, and texture, I aim to reveal the beauty and character of the world around us. In today’s contemporary context, my work invites viewers to discover wonder and beauty in local scenes, fostering a connection to the environment. Each photograph tells a unique story, urging the audience to appreciate the intrinsic value of our surroundings.”
Art exhibits at UCC-Keene are organized by the Music and Arts Committee and are hung in the East Room Gallery on the first floor. An accessible entrance is located at the rear of the building off Vernon Street. The gallery is open from 11 am to noon on Sundays, and by appointment (603-352-4136) during the week. Closed Saturdays.
