In May, a record number of 129 Hygiene Kits were assembled and donated to Church World Service for distribution during the coming year. With donations of towels, toothbrushes, soap, clippers, and other items from the whole Church community, this annual collection will reach those in need in areas of crisis and natural disasters. The kits were assembled by volunteers from the United Church of Christ Women’s Fellowship.
In addition, the members of the UCC-Keene Bell Choir collected and donated pencils, crayons, pads of paper, rulers, and other content for 69 School Kits, which were also packed and joined the Hygiene Kits destined for Church World Service, which then distributes them to appropriate areas.
