Through the work of the Creation Justice Committee, the United Church of Christ in Keene has joined the NEXTREX Recycling Challenge Program. The committee has placed collection boxes in the Church Dining Room, along with lists of soft plastics that NexTrex can or cannot accept for recycling.
People are asked to bring their plastic items on Sunday mornings when the Dining Room is used for Coffee and Fellowship, following worship. In addition to the positive impact of recycling, the Church will receive a bench made of recycled plastic if its recycling goal is met.
