On Sunday, Dec. 10, the music program will present a Sermon-in-Music during the morning worship service. Music Director Beverly Caldon will play the organ and conduct a string quartet and the senior choir in “The Infant Jesus,” by Dietrich Buxtehude, 1637-1707. Buxtehude composed in the Baroque period and influenced the works of Bach and Handel.
This special worship service begins at 10 am and is open to the public. The United Church of Christ is located at 23 Central Square, and has an accessible entrance at the back of the building off Vernon Street, with an elevator to the Sanctuary once inside.
