The United Church of Christ in Keene welcomes new Church Administrator Venette Winslow. Venette, whose name is French and comes from a distant relative, was born in Maine, but grew up in Greenfield, NH, where her parents still reside. She graduated from ConVal High School and Keene State College and then left for New Orleans “for adventure,” she says.
Her employment background includes 30+ years in HR and benefits administration, and includes her time at New Orleans’ Aquarium of the Americas, interpreting exhibits and training volunteers. At UCC-Keene, she’ll focus on communications, scheduling, managing volunteers, and assisting Senior Pastor, Rev. Cynthia Bagley.
